For those of you that didn’t catch this post, this addresses the questions around testing. The way I read this is you will only need to pay for your own testing if you cannot test at the free testing sites offered by the State or other free testing sites in your area. The way this sounds, is that there will be free testing a available. It also says employers are encouraged to utilize release time to allow employees to get tested. It also says you should get pre approval for release time. I hope this helps.

I honestly don't believe being vaccinated makes me safe, maybe I will have a better chance fighting the virus if I catch it. "choice" is the real fight here, although its not my fight it is my brother's and sister's fight which makes it my fight because It is my belief that we are stronger together, everyone working for NDOC need to adopt this mentality we will continue to lose these fights because more often than not we stay divided and the administration never worries about us making any sincere push for change. I wanted to read the facebook post but I don't have a facebook account because I don't do Social media. Yep I'm and old timer literally.😄
I really don't see what the big deal is about getting vaccinations. You get flu shots when your kids you get a shot for measles, chicken pox, mumps so what the hell is the big deal
