We are nearing a settlement agreement that will provide any COT who is rejected from probation with a hearing to fight their rejection. This is due to the tireless work of the executive board and our attorney, Adam Levine. The state has asked us to provide them with a list of COT’s who were rejected from probation that would like to have a hearing, in order to fight their rejection. FOP is asking you all to reach out to those who you know were rejected and would like a second chance at retaining their career with NDOC. Let me be clear, this is not a guarantee that they will reverse the decision, but it is a chance for the NDOC to reconsider the decision and give all COT’s a chance to explain their side of the story. If you know anyone that has been rejected over the last year and a half who wants a chance at redemption, please have them email Prater at praterfop21@yahoo.com
with a detailed statement of who they are, what occurred, what facility they worked for, employee ID number, and that they would like a chance at redemption.
